Stacking Up

"She is too fond of books, and it has turned her brain.”
― Louisa May AlcottWork: A Story of Experience

The quote above pretty much sums up how books have become a part of my life. As much as I love fashion, I love the literate world of story telling just as much. As a result of this amour, I decided that I will start stacking up, next to my favorite literature books, my own little collection of fashion oriented books.

The first one to mingle between Murakami, Satre, Austen and more was Scott Schuman's first street style book:The Sartorialist.. Because who doesn't dream of being photographed by his lens? Schuman's blog has been captured in 507 pages of pure inspiration and I can't wait to have his other two books in my possession!

The Little Dictionary of Fashion by Christian Dior is the runner up of this selection. Instead of a little black book, we get a little pink book where Dior seamlessly combined everything a woman must embrace whilst creating her own personal style; keeping in mind that: simplicity, good taste and grooming are key factors to it all.

What fashion books do you own?
Stay tuned to see what book joins the collection!
Sincerely, Bianca!

  3. Aaah i LOVE fashion books, they're so inspiring. It's amazing to look through the Sartorialist's first book because you see all those fashion famous style stars at the very begin of their ascent and you really notice how much they've changed over the years. I love the book the Olsens made, you should check it out if you don't already have it.
