As a black & white and blue (hi, denim!) enthusiast myself, my answer to the question "Who's afraid of red, white and blue?" would definitely be along the lines of Les Misérables song Red and Black. Because each time I saw a dash of crimson in so many collections I couldn't help but sing: Chanel: Red, the blood of angry men! Jacquemus: Red, a world about to dawn! Lacoste: Red, the color of desire! etc... Which would directly translate into a welcoming embrace to anything red, scarlet or any synonym that exists of said word into my closet. In my defense, once again, there's never a wrong moment to suddenly belch out any song from Les Misérables. Also, Lacoste is dressing the french Olympic team this upcoming year, so quoting Victor Hugo sounds just about right.
There you have it.
What do you guys think of this trend?
Sincerely, Bianca! xx
